Key Qualifications:
Current licensure and credentials required for Diagnostic Medical Sonography/Echocardiography Previous experience performing echocardiograms and evaluating cardiac anatomy, pathology, and function Strong understanding of imaging protocols and best practices for echo studies Proficient with ultrasound equipment and digital imaging systems Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills Ability to quickly adapt to new settings and function effectively in a fast-paced environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive echocardiographic studies—including M-mode, 2D, Doppler, and color flow imaging—for diverse patient populations Collaborate closely with cardiologists and the healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care Maintain proper documentation and imaging records in accordance with facility policies Ensure equipment is well maintained, calibrated, and safe for patient use Provide clear explanations and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after procedures
