Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment - flexible rotation within department and off-site clinics
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound exams including Abdomen, OB/GYN, Pediatric, Basic Vascular, and small parts; may assist with interventional procedures Ensure strict adherence to patient identification and safety protocols Review clinical history and communicate effectively with patients, considering their physical and emotional needs Utilize universal precautions and maintain high hygiene and safety standards Operate, maintain, and report issues with imaging equipment Rotate within departments and off-site clinics, adapting smoothly to new environments Complete necessary administrative functions (PACS, RIS, reporting) Prepare and stock exam rooms and department supplies Remain current on imaging practices and participate in continuing education
Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA-accredited Ultrasound Program At least 12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound experience ARDMS certification required; MFM department experience essential
