Job Description

Category Imaging•Ultrasound General Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to provide expert imaging services across two prominent hospitals in Cambridge, MA. This contract position involves performing detailed head and neck ultrasound exams, as well as general and specialized ultrasound scans on transplanted organs and vascular studies.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting head and neck ultrasound examinations following precise protocols at one hospital, with potential involvement in ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies and OR guidance. Performing routine general ultrasound exams, including transplanted liver and kidney evaluations, DVT studies on upper and lower extremities, and pediatric scans at the second hospital. Collaborating closely with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnoses. Operating advanced ultrasound equipment, including Philips Epiq Elite and GE Logiq 10s machines.
Desired Experience:
Proven expertise in general ultrasound imaging and head and neck sonography. Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures is highly beneficial. Familiarity with vascular studies such as DVT exams. Pediatric ultrasound experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and adapt between differing clinical settings.

8:00 AM•6:30 PM (Hospital 1)
Monday:
7:00 AM•5:30 PM (Hospital 2)
Thursday:
7:00 AM•5:30 PM (Hospital 2)
Saturday:
8:00 AM•6:30 PM (Hospital 1)
