Schedule/Hours:
Rotational shifts, with department and off-site rotation as required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound studies including Abdomen, OB/GYN, Pediatric, Basic Vascular, and small parts; may assist with interventional procedures Carefully obtain and verify two points of patient identification, prepare patients, and gather relevant clinical histories Clearly explain procedures, address patient needs, and uphold confidentiality and professional standards Practice universal safety and precaution protocols tailored to each patient's status Maintain proficiency in ultrasound equipment operation and communicate repair needs Support departmental operations by rotating between divisions, cooperating with colleagues, and maintaining effective communication Complete paperwork, PACS, RIS, and reporting for each examination Prepare examination rooms and manage supply inventories proactively Commit to continuing education and remain current on advancements in imaging techniques Follow hospital guidelines for patient transport and transfers Exercise independent judgment and initiative during patient care and imaging tasks
Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA-accredited Ultrasound Program Minimum 12 months full-time clinical ultrasound experience ARDMS certification required
