Job Summary Summary:
Responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations on patients. Duties include preparing patients for exams, operating ultrasound equipment, and interpreting ultrasound images.
Essential Functions:
Prepare patients for vascular ultrasound exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and applying gel to the skin.
Qualifications Education:
Associate's degree in Sonography required
Licenses and Credentials:
MA State License (required) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required)
Preferred Certifications:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Certified Sonographer
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Experience:
Prior experience working in a similar role 2-3 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience with vascular ultrasound equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail. Additional Job Details (if applicable) Offering a $15,000 sign on bonus for new external hires! Current MGB employees are not eligible.
