Compensation Competitive Weekly Pay:

  • 12:00 AM Rotating Weekends Required Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS) to join a dynamic healthcare team for a travel assignment in Hyannis, MA.
The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients and ultrasound equipment for diagnostic procedures Select appropriate transducers and imaging frequencies based on exam requirements Review patient history, physician orders, and supporting clinical documentation Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images Explain ultrasound procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout exams Evaluate image quality and ensure proper documentation and labeling Maintain accurate radiology and patient records Assist physicians during specialized ultrasound procedures and needle biopsies Coordinate workflow efficiently to support departmental productivity Monitor equipment functionality and arrange maintenance or repairs as needed Follow infection control, safety standards, and departmental policies Participate in continuing education and professional development activities Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards Deliver exceptional customer service and patient-centered care Requirements Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program required Current ARDMS certification required ARDMS registrations in Abdomen and OB/GYN required Current BLS Certification required All certifications and registrations must remain active throughout assignment Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a clinical setting Preferred Qualifications Prior hospital or acute care experience preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and time management skills For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
