Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist in the evaluation of patients' medical conditions. This role requires a strong foundation in patient care, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring accurate imaging results. Utilize appropriate medical imaging techniques to assess patient conditions in various specialties, including Ob/Gyn and diagnostic radiology. Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during procedures. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process by providing clear instructions and support. Document all relevant patient information and imaging results accurately in medical records. Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and best practices in patient care. Requirements Proven experience as an Ultrasonographer or similar role is preferred. ARDMS certification, OB/GYN and RVT required Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and sonography principles. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Pay:
From $34.22 per hour
