Full-Time The Ultrasound Technologist / Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) performs high-quality general and vascular ultrasound examinations to support accurate medical diagnosis. This role demonstrates competency in producing technical and diagnostic sonographic images for physician interpretation. The technologist properly positions patients and ultrasound equipment, ensures patient safety and comfort, and is responsible for processing, documenting, and transmitting images to PACS in accordance with diagnostic imaging standards. Responsibilities Perform general ultrasound and vascular ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and imaging protocols. Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images for interpretation by radiologists. Position patients and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal scans. Process, review, and transmit images to PACS for storage and physician review. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with infection control and regulatory standards. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support quality patient care. QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. RDMS
(ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.2. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.3. Previous experience preferred.4. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.5.
