Job Description

Coastal Women's Healthcare is an independent, physician-owned practice seeking an experienced Breast Sonographer to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities :
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly. Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain the best possible images. Perform high-quality breast ultrasound scans, ensuring each study meets technical and clinical standards for interpretation by radiologists. Analyze images and data to identify any abnormalities or potential issues. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide accurate diagnoses. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer and at least 1 year of breast ultrasound experience. Active ARDMS certification required Current BLS certification preferred Compliant with CME requirements for Breast Ultrasound Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Ability to accurately interpret diagnostic evaluations and communicate findings to healthcare professionals. Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and medical staff.
Pay:
$43.00 - $47.00 per hour
