General Ultrasound Technologist Location:
Southfield, MI Job Type:

Our integrated care model allows us to provide advanced diagnostics and comprehensive treatment to those who need it most. We are seeking an experienced General Ultrasound Technologist who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional imaging services. This role plays a critical part in supporting accurate diagnosis and improving patient outcomes across our Metro Detroit locations. This position will float between all EPIC Health locations throughout Metro Detroit to help provide the highest level of care to our patients. Key Responsibilities Perform general ultrasound studies with accuracy and attention to detail Collect and review patient history to ensure appropriate imaging procedures Evaluate images for technical quality and completeness prior to submission Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout procedures Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records Perform and document quality assurance activities Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functionality Collaborate with providers and clinical teams across multiple locations What You Bring Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Minimum of 2 years of full-time ultrasound experience preferred Current ARDMS certification in General Ultrasound required Ability and willingness to travel to all EPIC Health Metro Detroit locations Ability to stand, bend, lift, and assist patients as needed throughout the workday Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and image quality Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Adaptable, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement Why Join EPIC Health?
