Ultrasound Technologist

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team Part Time. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical imaging, and experienced in both vascular and echocardiogram studies while providing compassionate, high quality patient care. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including vascular and echocardiograms exams. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and addressing any concerns with clear communication skills. Operate ultrasound equipment accurately, adjusting settings to obtain optimal images for interpretation. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and patient information in accordance with office protocols. Uphold strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards during all procedures to ensure patient safety. Monitor equipment performance regularly and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly. Requirements Certification or licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and physicians.

Pay:

$350.00 - $500.00 per day
