Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION JOB SUMMARY
Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer Experienced Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer providing advanced obstetrical ultrasound services under the direction of a Perinatologist. Skilled in performing comprehensive ultrasound examinations for both low- and high-risk pregnancies, delivering clinically relevant imaging and diagnostic information to support patient care and treatment planning. Expertise includes first-trimester ultrasounds, nuchal translucency screening, detailed fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echocardiography, Doppler studies, biophysical profiles, endovaginal examinations, and other specialized obstetrical imaging procedures. Proficient in assisting with and providing ultrasound guidance for invasive procedures, including amniocentesis, multifetal pregnancy reduction, fetal surgery, and other MFM interventions. Demonstrates strong independent decision-making skills and extensive knowledge of high-risk obstetrical conditions. Serves as a preceptor and mentor for newly hired sonographers and sonography students. Adheres to American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM) standards and guidelines while maintaining a strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and Family-Centered Care principles. Experienced in providing age-appropriate patient education and support and willing to travel to outreach clinic locations as needed. Schedule Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks | Onsite Day shift | Monday - Friday | 8 hour shifts No weekends, holidays or on-call shifts Pay and Benefits Starting pay begins at $41.92 per hour, pay determined by experience Pay range: $41.92 - $62.92 per hour Full time benefits : medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts
Education:
Associate Degree from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or graduate with Certificate from accredited
Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Experience:
2 years obstetrical/gynecology ultrasound experience
Licenses & Certifications:
Current ARDMS certification in OB-GYN Current ARDMS certification in Fetal Echocardiography or certified 5 Yrs Required Nuchal Translucency Certification 2 Yrs Required Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association) per established policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience and knowledge of high-risk conditions.
