Key Qualifications:
ARDMS certification in General Ultrasound Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Minimum of 1 year's recent experience in Ultrasound General imaging Demonstrated proficiency with ultrasound protocols, equipment, and image quality standards Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with patients and clinical team members Current BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality general ultrasound examinations per physician orders Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Analyze images and provide accurate preliminary findings to radiologists Maintain imaging equipment and adherence to infection control protocols Document procedures, patient interactions, and technical factors in the electronic medical record Support a collaborative, patient-focused care environment
