- Contract AH01 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled professional to produce high-quality ultrasound images for physician interpretation, adhering to established radiology standards.
The role requires proficiency in various imaging equipment and technologies, as verified by competency assessments. Job Responsibilities Adhere to safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients. Promote teamwork through effective communication. Provide exceptional service to patients by employing proper communication, technique, and safety measures. Maintain flexibility to work in various locations, shifts, and durations. Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure efficient and optimal patient care. Experience Needed Experience in general, OB/Gyn, and basic vascular imaging, including arterial Doppler, is required. Skills Required Skills & Experience Organized, efficient, and capable of multitasking. Ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts, including on-call duties during days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. Preferred Skills & Experience Previous experience as an Ultrasound Sonographer is preferred. Education Required Education Completion of an accredited sonography or radiography program. Certifications & Licensure Required Certifications & Licensure Registry-eligible candidates must obtain ARDMS registration in either Vascular Technology (RVT) or RDMS (Abdominal or OB/GYN) within 6 months of employment, with RVT preferred first, and both RVT and RDMS within 12 months of employment. A third certification in Abdominal or OB/GYN must be completed within 18 months of employment. Employees providing breast imaging must obtain RDMS (Breast) certification within 24 months of achieving competency. Employees hired specifically for vascular sonography, who are not eligible for Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications, are exempt from these requirements. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Preferred Certifications & Licensure No preferred certifications or licensure specified.
