Desired Experience:
Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent) Proficient with general ultrasound imaging (abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts) Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred BLS certification required Adaptability and excellent communication skills
Typical Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality ultrasound studies and ensure clear, accurate imaging for diagnostic interpretation Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation, patient records, and follow protocols for safety and infection control Educate and prepare patients prior to and during procedures Monitor equipment functionality and support routine maintenance
