Job Description

Saint Luke's Physician Group is seeking a
BC/BE MSK
radiologist for a full-time faculty appointment within our subspecialty radiology practice at Saint Luke's in Kansas City, MO.
About the position:
  • Our MSK radiology section is a friendly, hardworking, and cohesive group that values excellent patient care and strong work-life balance
  • We serve patients across the greater Kansas City region and partner with a broad network of referring clinicians—including major orthopedic and sports medicine groups, high-volume primary care and rheumatology practices, and 11 emergency departments and inpatient services—giving the team a wide and meaningful clinical footprint
  • Responsibilities include interpreting a full spectrum of MSK imaging: radiographs, ultrasound, nuclear medicine (bone scans), CT, and MRI. We are also one of the few practices in the region offering a broad range of diagnostic MSK ultrasound exam
  • We perform a variety of image-guided procedures using fluoroscopy and ultrasound, including arthrograms, joint aspirations, and soft-tissue or intra-articular injections
  • Work daytime shifts will focus heavily on MSK imaging
  • Optional reading of general thoracic, abdominal, or neuro studies depending on comfort—no breast imaging required
  • After-hours coverage is provided by an independent teleradiology group (after 5 p.m. on weekdays and 3 p.m. on weekends), so no evening or overnight shifts are required
  • Enjoy access to modern imaging technology across all modalities, including radiography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, GE and Philips MRI systems (five total, including a 3T magnet), and advanced GE and Siemens CT platforms
  • Academic appointment through the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). Teaching is expected; research opportunities are readily available
  • Highly competitive compensation package and a comprehensive employment benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage; malpractice insurance; a tax-deferred retirement plan with employer match; paid time off; and an annual CME allowance
  • Applicants should have completed or be completing an MSK imaging fellowship.
  • Visa sponsorship is not currently available.
Candidates must be eligible for Missouri and Kansas medical licensure.
