Reports to:

Nurse Center Manager Brief Overview Description The Sonographer provides compassionate and professional medical care to clients at Reach Reproductive Health. This role is responsible for conducting ultrasounds, options education, and ensuring compliance with medical policies and procedures. The Sonographer plays a key role in client interactions, delivering clear and medically accurate information in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Interaction & Education - Engage with clients in a compassionate and professional manner, providing medical information and emotional support. Ultrasound Services - Perform limited obstetric ultrasounds following established protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging and proper documentation. Options Education - Options Education - Present medically accurate information on pregnancy options in a non-directive, compassionate manner, ensuring clients are fully informed; review options information and explore any decision pressures with clients to help formulate an appropriate and patient-centered care plan. Compliance & Charting - Maintain detailed and accurate client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Reach's policies and procedures.

COMPETENCIES

Strong client communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in performing ultrasounds or willingness to complete training. Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain compliance with all medical guidelines. Ability to prioritize competing demands and ensure services are provided in alignment with a high standard of care

QUALIFICATIONS

Current RDMS certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Active Missouri RDMS license (in compliance with state regulations). Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Experience in pregnancy resource centers, OB/GYN, or women's health (preferred). Strong alignment with Reach's mission and core values.

COMPENSATION

The starting salary for this position is $31 per hour, with potential for higher compensation based on experience and qualifications. Reach Reproductive Health values the expertise and dedication of its team members and is open to discussions regarding salary adjustments to reflect relevant experience and skills.
