Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in vascular sonography to a dynamic healthcare environment and play a crucial role in patient care. This contract opportunity spans eight weeks, offering consistent hours in a collaborative setting. Professionals with a background in Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular will thrive and make a meaningful impact.
Schedule:
40 guaranteed hours per week 5x8s, day shift Staggered start times between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
Call requirements:
1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
Qualifications:
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Active Mississippi state license for sonography or vascular technology Demonstrated experience in vascular ultrasound studies Proficiency in communication and compassionate patient care Ability to collaborate effectively within a hospital team setting
Key Responsibilities:
Perform vascular ultrasound exams with precision, including arterial, venous, and carotid studies Accurately document findings and collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians on results Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and maintaining comfort throughout exams Ensure all images meet quality standards and adhere to hospital protocols Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and hygiene Participate in required call rotation, demonstrating reliability and flexibility
