Job Description
Performs ultrasound procedures and takes anatomical pictures to demonstrate organs under the direction of the Director of Radiology and guidance of the Radiologists. Reports all preliminary findings and diagnoses to the radiologists. Patient population can be anywhere from neonates to geriatrics. Must be a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program Must have one to two years of experience to be fully proficient New graduates will be considered ARRT (R) preferred Must be RDMS registered or registry eligible; registered within 1 year of hire date; ARRT (S) is accepted Must be willing to obtain registries in ABD, OB/GYN, and Vascular Must have current BLS Must have the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as a team Must be willing to perform diagnostic radiology if ARRT (R) Must be available for rotating on call responsibilities, nights, weeks, and holidays
