Hours Per Week Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting Travel job in Missoula, MT. Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain accurate diagnostic images. Evaluate image quality and ensure studies are completed appropriately. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EPIC electronic medical record system. Follow established facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in on-call coverage and support patient care needs as required. Float between units and departments as needed to support operational requirements. Maintain equipment functionality and report equipment concerns appropriately. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Current ARDMS Certification or equivalent certification as required. Current BLS Certification. Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and anatomy. Ability to perform and evaluate diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Experience with EPIC charting preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. Experience in an acute care hospital setting. Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment. First-time travelers accepted. Additional Requirements On-call coverage required (1-3 nights per week).
