1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for an outpatient sonography position requiring dual ECHO and Vascular registration and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details Outpatient cardiology/vascular ultrasound setting Procedures include abdominal aorta, aortic studies, arterial graft studies, carotid, color flow, Doppler studies, duplex, lower and upper extremity arterial and venous studies, M-mode, renal artery duplex, and transcranial Doppler Adult patient population Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and
PACS EMR
is Epic; experience is mandatory Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Requirements Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI; either RDCS and RVT, or RCS and RVS credentials required Candidates with only RVS certification and Echo experience will also be considered Adult echocardiography and vascular experience required Proficiency with Philips ultrasound systems and PACS Epic EMR experience required License required if applicable 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible A Pass/Fail EKG exam is required during compliance; two attempts are allowed and candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
