1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine with a minimum of 2 years of experience, RDMS-OB certification, and Epic proficiency for a travel assignment at an AIUM-accredited outpatient facility. Details Outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound setting at an AIUM-accredited facility Primary location is a women's health center in Greensboro, with potential occasional floats to additional campuses High-risk obstetric patient population including OB/GYN and perinatal cases Procedures include anatomy scans, Dopplers, transvaginal ultrasound, M-mode, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling (CVS) Equipment used includes Samsung Hera W10 and Samsung RS85 Prestige Epic EMR required; AS OB Reporting required PACS experience required 4x9-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with variable scheduling; primary shift is 7:15 AM - 4:45 PM Occasional float shifts may include Saturday or Sunday with 12-hour day or night shift hours, though this is rare No on-call requirements Floating to additional locations required as needed 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 2 years of sonography experience in
OB/MFM RDMS-OB
certification with MFM experience required BLS required Outpatient experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred Proficiency with Epic EMR and AS OB Reporting required Experience with anatomy scans, Dopplers, transvaginal ultrasound, amniocentesis, CVS, M-mode, and PACS required License required if applicable Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Perform perinatal ultrasounds for high-risk obstetric patients, including anatomy scans, Dopplers, transvaginal exams, amniocentesis, and CVS procedures All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as part of facility compliance, regardless of specialty; two attempts are allowed and candidates should prepare in advance First-time travelers are welcome to apply Punctuality and attendance are strictly enforced; the facility has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
