Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Contribute to an established outpatient and inpatient vascular clinic providing diagnostic ultrasound services for a diverse patient population. This contract opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule with the potential for weekend rotations. Schedule:
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Occasional weekend rotations (vascular ultrasound coverage, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) No on-call or call-back requirements
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years dedicated vascular ultrasound experience Must possess EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT; ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS; CCI) required Current BLS certification Strong proficiency in a wide range of vascular studies, including carotid, upper/lower arterial & venous, DVT/reflux, vein mapping, renal, mesenteric, AAA/endograft, aorta, PVR/segmental pressures, hemodialysis grafts, iliac veins, and various types of arterial bypass grafts First-time travelers are welcome
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations for outpatients and inpatients of all ages Utilize EPIC EMR and VascuPro reporting tools for accurate documentation and data management Operate Philips Epic Elite and Parks PVR/Segmental Pressures machines in a high-volume setting (8-12 cases daily) Float to the High Point outpatient lab location as needed Work collaboratively with department leadership and peers, contributing to a culture of mutual support and quality improvement
