1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 5 years of experience, ARDMS and RVT certifications, and proficiency in a wide range of vascular studies including carotid, Doppler, and duplex imaging. Details Work in a vascular ultrasound unit with 3 private RVT rooms Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics, with an average daily census of 23 and approximately 9 visits per day Staffing ratios are 1:3 on weekdays and 1:1 on weekends Performs OR cases including carotid endarterectomies Equipment includes Philips Epiq Elite x4 and Viasonix Falcon Pro x2 EMR system is Medstreaming; Epic experience is preferred Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 1430-2300 (5x8-hour shifts) On-call requirement of one week per month: weekday on-call 2300-0700 and 24-hour on-call on weekends Block scheduling Green scrubs required; not provided by the facility Requirements Minimum of 5 years of vascular ultrasound experience required; 10+ years preferred ARDMS and RVT certifications required Current BLS required Experience in adult, ER, ICU, and portable settings required Proficiency in vascular studies including aorta, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, color flow, Doppler studies, duplex, LE arterial/venous, renal artery duplex, and UE arterial/venous Must be adaptable and flexible in a fluid work environment Two professional references required for consideration PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration License required if applicable Additional Information First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Performs vascular imaging studies across a broad range of modalities including OR-based procedures Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
