Desired Qualifications:
Current RDCS or RCS certification (or eligibility) Completed accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology Minimum of 1 year recent experience in echo imaging, preferably in a hospital environment Proficiency with a range of echo equipment and technology Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality echocardiograms: transthoracic, stress, and assist with transesophageal studies Analyze and document findings, ensuring accuracy and clarity for physician interpretation Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other staff to provide comprehensive patient care Maintain exam rooms, manage equipment, and adhere to quality control standards Contribute to a safe environment by following infection prevention and facility protocols
