Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high quality imaging services.

Hours will vary based on department needs, including coverage for vacations, call-outs, weekends, or high patient volume
Starting Rate:
$30.72 + per hour
Shift Differentials:
$2.50 - $5.00 per hour (based on day and shift)
Sign On Bonus Eligible:
Up to $20,000 (if full time)

Key Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts exams. Review patient history and physician's orders to determine appropriate imaging protocol. Ensure images are high-quality and meet diagnostic criteria. Maintain accurate records and properly document procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR). Maintain and clean equipment, ensuring it operates safely and effectively. Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and instruction throughout procedures. Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Current ARDMS certification (or registry eligible and obtained within 12 months of hire). Previous experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
