Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sonographer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will utilize advanced medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing and monitoring patients' conditions. Your expertise will support our physicians in providing accurate assessments and personalized care for a diverse patient population, including maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology cases.

POSITION SCOPE
This position shall be directly responsible for the performance of quality daily general radiology exams/ultrasounds procedures ordered within the clinic. This includes participation in the development clinical policies & procedures, supplies/inventory management, physician and patient relationship management, appearance & cleanliness of imaging areas, and ensuring the delivery of quality customer service focused patient care.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Ultrasound Tech -Maintains competency in ultrasound procedures and techniques. Follows all ultrasound and related radiology policies and procedures relative to obtaining images, ordering supplies, preparing and operating the equipment, evaluating images for technical quality, clerical function and maintaining patient records. ALL -Assists in the training of new hires. Effectively organizes time, equipment, supplies, to carry out daily responsibilities. Uses equipment effectively by anticipating patient needs and providing appropriate care. Confirms that proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted Standards of Practice and organizational policies and procedures. Maintains order and cleanliness of imaging and patient care areas. Consults with Radiology Manager to ensure day-to-day operations are in accordance with written policies and in compliance with various regulatory and accrediting agencies. Assists with the development and monitoring of established clinical protocols as directed by Physician(s). Responsible for the delivery of efficient and effective patient care services. Helps in determining clinical service goals and effectively manages resources to achieve the goals. Promotes a customer service oriented relationship with Physicians to ensure efficient and quality patient care. Responsible for the development and updating of clinic policies and procedures within areas of expertise which are reflective of agreed upon practices. Ensures adherence to all established procedures and safety programs. Maintains an awareness and understanding of current regulatory legislation and accreditation standards and their implications on the clinic and daily operations. Must work as a team member and perform actions consistent with established UroHealth Partners policies and procedures including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Perform other duties as assigned.
