Vascular Sonographer

The Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) will performs a variety of hemodynamic evaluations to detect obstructions as directed by a physician or in response to previous test results, including carotid duplex ultrasound imaging, arterial duplex imaging, venous duplex imaging, and doppler ultrasound, plethysmography, pressure measurements, and other methodologies to evaluate patients suspected of having peripheral vascular disease. Post evaluations, the Registered Vascular Technician provides written preliminary interpretation of test results and communicates to the care team.

• Minimum Requirements:

• + Current registration as a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) through the American Registry of + Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as Registered Vascular Sonographer required.

+ Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age
