Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Advance your career in a vital imaging role focused on general ultrasound. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide critical diagnostic services in a busy medical setting. Utilizing your expertise, you'll play a key role in patient care by delivering high-quality imaging that supports accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
Key Qualifications:
Credentialed and registered in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or equivalent Demonstrated experience performing a variety of general ultrasound examinations Proficiency in handling and maintaining ultrasound equipment Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and image evaluation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction Ability to collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Commitment to maintaining patient safety and privacy at all times
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound studies, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and answer questions to ensure comfort Operate and calibrate ultrasound equipment to optimize image quality Analyze and present findings to medical team members for diagnostic interpretation Maintain clear and accurate patient records and documentation Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment Adapt to daily workflow and prioritize cases according to medical urgency This is a contract opportunity providing a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, enhance your imaging skills, and contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes.
