What You Will Bring:
Certification by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or equivalent Proficiency in General Ultrasound techniques (abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a hospital or similar setting preferred Ability to maintain high standards of patient care and confidentiality Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct general ultrasound exams, ensuring clear image acquisition and accurate documentation Prepare and position patients, providing explanations and reassurance throughout the procedure Assist radiologists and physicians with diagnostic procedures and compile findings Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure a safe, sterile environment Accurately complete required paperwork and manage patient records Participate in continuous quality improvement and departmental meetings
