Job Requirements and Properties Work Onsite Full Time Schedule Full Time Job Description . Cottage Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology team. This role offers flexible scheduling while providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care in a collaborative hospital environment. In this position, you will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for interpretation. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, explaining procedures, and maintaining a calm, supportive patient experience. You may also assist with ultrasound-guided procedures as needed. Additional responsibilities include proper equipment care and disinfection, accurate image annotation and measurement, and maintaining patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. You will work closely with radiologists, providers, and other departments to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of sonography, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking flexibility while staying engaged in clinical practice. We appreciate a 2 shift per month commitment for per diem roles.
