1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a night shift position in a hospital radiology department, requiring 2+ years of experience and active RDMS and NH MIRT licensure. Details Hospital-based ultrasound department located on Level A Radiology Unit has 4 ultrasound rooms with a staff of 14 sonographers Night shift is staffed by 1 sonographer Patient population spans pediatric through geriatric Caseload of approximately 8-10 patients per 8-hour shift Procedures include thoracentesis, paracentesis, FNAs (thyroid, parotid, lymph nodes), soft tissue and lymph node biopsies, liver and renal biopsies, drainage procedures (abscesses, cysts, hematomas, gallbladders), thrombin injections, and OR procedures such as breast needle placements, carotid studies, D&Cs, and prostate biopsies Equipment includes Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10

InteleRad Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM (10-hour night shifts) 13-week contract Weekends are covered by dedicated weekend staff; no on-call requirement for travelers Opportunities for extra shifts within the department; breast ultrasound opportunities may be available at an affiliated breast care center Requirements Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in ultrasound, with active scanning experience within the last 6 months Clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting with exposure to general, vascular, and OB-GYN sonography Strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology with the ability to recognize normal vs. abnormal findings Proficiency in sonographic physics, techniques, and basic scanning skills Active
BLS, RDMS
certification, and NH MIRT licensure required — NH license must be in hand prior to consideration Additional certifications such as
RVT, OB-GYN
(RDMS), or AB are preferred OR and ultrasound procedure experience is preferred US SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri) NH state license required if applicable No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Additional Information Perform a wide range of diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures including vascular, general, and OB-GYN studies, as well as image-guided procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and OR-based interventions Work independently as the sole sonographer on the night shift Any color of professional, clean-appearing scrubs or radiology-themed t-shirts are acceptable Candidates are expected to follow all department attendance policies and exam protocols
