PM Schedule:
34.5-37.5 Hours Per Week | 5 Days Per Week We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a hospital setting. This role is responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, assisting radiologists, capturing and transferring images, and ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree or equivalent education required. ARRT Certification required. ARDMS Certification required. Current BLS Certification required. Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience required. Experience with diagnostic ultrasound imaging required. Prostate sonography experience required. VU ultrasound system experience required. Experience with PACS image management. Strong computer skills, including EMR systems and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and clinical decision-making abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. English fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) required.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures according to departmental protocols. Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Perform ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Maintain, clean, and perform minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment. Monitor and maintain adequate imaging supply levels. Capture, review, and transfer images to PACS and physician workstations. Assist radiologists and other clinical staff as needed. Schedule examinations and coordinate patient workflow. Support patient transport and communication when necessary. Assist with orientation and mentoring of new staff members.
