Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract A skilled Echo Tech is needed for a contract assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role is crucial in providing high-quality cardiac imaging to support patient care and clinical decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with cardiology teams and demonstrate expertise in echocardiography and digital ultrasound technology.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Rotational weekends required On-call duties required (weekdays and weekends)
Qualifications:
Current BLS certification Registered through ARDMS or CCI Experience using EPIC electronic medical records Comprehensive understanding of cardiac ultrasound techniques and digital ultrasound equipment Ability to perform cardiac ultrasound tests in line with the American Society of Echocardiography guidelines and ICAEL standards Professional communication skills to effectively prepare and explain procedures to patients
Responsibilities:
Conduct various echocardiographic studies, including stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily scheduled diagnostics across a variety of patient populations Maintain documentation and imaging records within the EPIC system Comply with established safety and quality assurance protocols Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to provide optimal patient care Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards for imaging and clinical practice This position offers a rewarding opportunity to apply advanced echocardiography skills within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
