1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Echo Sonographer with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM. Details Work in the Cardiopulmonary Specialty Services department of a 194-bed Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah Patient population spans all age groups, including pediatric patients Primary focus on cardiac diagnoses and treatment Uses GE Vivid E95 ultrasound equipment Cerner EHR Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM 40 hours per week On-call required every 5th week, with weekend call every 5th weekend No float requirements Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Echo Sonographer CCI or RDCS certification required BLS and ACLS required — must be AHA-issued Proficiency with adult echocardiography required Pediatric echocardiography experience required License required if applicable Additional Information Perform echocardiographic studies across all age groups, with a focus on cardiac diagnoses The facility is a full-service medical center offering surgical, medical, and rehabilitation services, as well as a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, behavioral health unit, and extensive imaging services The facility has received PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory accreditation, a Reputation 800 Award in Healthcare, and recognition as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. Located in the San Juan River Valley, Farmington offers outdoor recreation including hiking, kayaking, and access to six National Parks, with Durango, CO about 1 hour away and Albuquerque, NM about 3 hours away
