1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Echocardiography Ultrasound Technologist for a travel contract at a rural Level 4 trauma hospital in Elko, NV, requiring ARDMS (AE) or CCI (RCS) certification and proficiency in routine echo, stress echo, and TEE. Details Cardiovascular Ultrasound department in a 75-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level 4 rural trauma facility Adult and geriatric outpatient and inpatient population Caseload of approximately 5 outpatients per day with one-hour scheduled time slots, plus 1-3 additional inpatients per day Procedures include routine echocardiography, stress echo, TEE, contrast (Definity) administration, and agitated saline studies Primary equipment: GE E95 ultrasound system

Medhost VidiStar Monday-Friday day shift, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with no weekend hours Rotating weekend call required, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM 8-week contract Requirements Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience ARDMS (AE) Adult Echocardiography or CCI (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification required AHA certifications required Graduate of an accredited sonography or cardiovascular technology program Proficiency in routine echo, stress echo, TEE, contrast (Definity) administration, and agitated saline studies License required if applicable SSN and date of birth required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate Additional Information This is a rapid response position — candidates must be available to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance Weekly orientation occurs on Mondays Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible Professional scrubs required; camouflage patterns are not permitted Self-starters are encouraged to apply
