Job Description

Job Summary The 3D/4D Ultrasound Technician performs advanced obstetric ultrasound imaging to assess fetal development and maternal health. This role specializes in high-resolution 3D and real-time 4D imaging, providing both diagnostic support to providers and elective bonding experiences for expectant parents. The technician ensures accurate imaging, patient safety, and a supportive, compassionate patient experience. Duties Perform 2D, 3D, and 4D obstetric ultrasounds in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols Capture high-quality fetal images for anatomy scans, growth monitoring, and maternal-fetal assessments Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality Accurately document findings and measurements in the electronic medical record (EMR) Collaborate with OB/GYN providers to support diagnostic interpretation and patient care Educate patients on ultrasound procedures while maintaining scope of practice (no diagnosis unless credentialed to do so) Provide a calm, supportive, and patient-centered experience, especially during sensitive or high-risk pregnancies Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards Perform routine equipment quality checks and report any malfunctions Assist with scheduling, workflow efficiency, and patient throughput as needed
Compensation & Schedule :
Compensation is open for negotiation Full-time / Part-time / PRN options available Benefits may include health insurance and retirement plans
Pay:
$35.00 - $38.00 per hour
