Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Ultrasound Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. We are seeking an individual with skills in maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and medical imaging. Duties Perform ultrasound examinations focusing on maternal-fetal health, Ob/Gyn assessments, and general medical imaging procedures Assist in obtaining clear and accurate images by applying proper sonography techniques and maintaining optimal equipment settings Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, ensure comfort, and address any concerns with professionalism and empathy Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all imaging procedures Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret findings and support diagnostic processes Document all procedures thoroughly in accordance with medical terminology standards and facility policies Support ongoing quality assurance by inspecting equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards Other duties as specified Qualifications Basic understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound imaging Prior knowledge or experience in maternal-fetal medicine or Ob/Gyn is a strong plus but not required; training will be provided for trainees Familiarity with medical imaging principles such as sonography and diagnostic radiology techniques is desirable Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and physicians Ability to follow aseptic techniques diligently to maintain a sterile environment during procedures Demonstrated interest in patient care with a compassionate approach to supporting individuals through their healthcare journey Willingness to learn new skills actively and adapt to evolving technology in medical imaging This paid opportunity is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about advancing their careers in healthcare technology.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
