Required Qualifications & Experience:
ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI certification in Echocardiography. Proficiency in performing adult echo procedures, including M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow imaging. Minimum of one year of recent experience in an acute care or hospital setting strongly preferred. Solid understanding of cardiac anatomy, sonographic techniques, and safety protocols. Exceptional communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities:
Independently perform high-quality echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures. Accurately document findings and collaborate with cardiologists for timely diagnosis and patient care. Ensure a safe, comfortable experience for patients, adhering to best practices and infection control standards. Assist in maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment. Respond to emergent imaging requests as needed.
