About Us HealthMed Diagnostic & Treatment Center is a growing multispecialty medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality patient care to the communities we serve. We are currently seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technician with echocardiography experience to join our team. Position Summary The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing a wide range of vascular ultrasound studies and echocardiograms while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and diagnostic accuracy. Candidates must have previous experience working with the Philips Sparq 2020 Ultrasound System . Responsibilities Perform vascular ultrasound examinations including: Carotid Duplex Ultrasounds Venous Duplex Studies (Upper & Lower Extremities) Arterial Duplex Studies ABI/PVR Testing (preferred) Perform and assist with: Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE) Cardiac imaging and measurements according to established protocols Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and accurately document findings. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout examinations. Maintain ultrasound equipment and report technical issues as needed. Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff regarding patient care and imaging needs. Adhere to all HIPAA, infection control, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience. Previous hands-on experience with the Philips Sparq 2020 Ultrasound Machine is required. Experience performing echocardiograms independently. Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound protocols. Excellent communication and patient interaction skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Preferred Qualifications Experience in cardiology and vascular medicine practices. Experience with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks preferred). Bilingual candidates (Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Spanish, or Bengali) are encouraged to apply.
Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
