New graduate and experienced Sonographers-CMH is looking for two new Sonographers to join our team!

Education:

Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Knowledge/Skill Requirements

Summary:

Perform general, OB, and vascular ultrasound exams on inpatient, Emergency patients and outpatients. Additionally responsible for maintaining quality assurance, infection control programs in the US department, and assisting in regulatory compliance issues and inspections. We are looking for a ultrasound professional who will: Demonstrate technical proficiency in producing diagnostic scans with the ability to recognize anatomical structures that are visualized, as evidenced by completion of sonograms of patients of all ages. Obtain and examines the requisition for an Ultrasound procedure to be aware of information such as scan requested, patient's condition or any other special notes or comments. Demonstrate the ability to assess a situation from a variety of perspectives, considers alternatives and selects the appropriate course of action. Explain the procedure to the patient or parent/guardian to facilitate cooperation and alleviate patient anxiety. Always present the department in a positive manner to patients, families, significant others and hospital personnel. Perform any QA and equipment checks within ultrasound department. Maintain proper use and care of probes and cleaning system for probes. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in area of responsibility at all times. Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the HIS/RIS and PACS computer systems. About CMH We employ approximately 1,500 passionate professionals.
