Duties Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and cooperation Operate ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality based on the specific diagnostic requirements Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret imaging results and assist in diagnosis Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, images, and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations Ensure all ultrasound equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control standards throughout all procedures Requirements Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent credential from an accredited organization Proven experience operating various ultrasound modalities, including breast, abdominal, thyroid, etc. Vascular US and Biopsy a plus Strong understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and patient privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and handle multiple cases effectively We are dedicated to supporting your professional growth while fostering a lively, team-oriented atmosphere.
