New Hartford, NY Key Responsibilities:

Perform ultrasound exams including general, vascular, and breast imaging Conduct doppler/duplex studies as required Assist physicians/radiologists during procedures Retrieve and review prior imaging and reports for accurate diagnosis Support daily operations of the ultrasound department Ensure proper equipment start-up, calibration, and functionality Maintain ultrasound procedures and protocols Manage inventory and order necessary supplies Perform and document daily quality assurance (QA) checks Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines Participate in OSHA training and annual competency requirements Use

RIS/PACS

systems for imaging, reporting, and data management Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and exam records

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Radiology or Sonography program ARDMS certification required Active State License (or eligibility) BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in general, vascular, and breast sonography Strong understanding of ultrasound techniques and imaging protocols Ability to operate ultrasound equipment with precision
