Job Overview Ultrasound Technologist (Contract)•New York, NY If you can spot what others can't on an ultrasound screen, we have a role for you! Join a team where your imaging skills help make a real difference in patient care every day. Education & Certifications Associate's Degree (Community College or equivalent)•Minimum Required ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
ARDMS Registration BLS Certification Schedule Shift:
9:00 AM•5:30 PM (5 days/week•37.5 hours weekly Exception (we also have part time role available only on weekends "Sat & Sun" Skills Required
MUST HAVE
ExactVu Ultrasound System experience
MUST HAVE
experience performing Prostate Sonography (Prostate Ultrasounds) Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience Job Duties Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental procedures and techniques. Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment while following all safety protocols. Protect patients and staff from electrical and other equipment-related hazards. Set up, operate, clean, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment. Ensure adequate supplies are available for daily operations. Assist in orienting and mentoring new Ultrasound personnel. Capture images in PACS and transfer studies to physicians' workstations. Answer telephones, schedule examinations, and assist with patient transportation when needed. Provide technical assistance to Radiologists during procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Pay:
