The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy, along with expertise in sonography techniques. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and collaborating with medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care. The Ultrasonographer will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients through the use of ultrasound technology. Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations on patients in an Ob/Gyn practice Utilize appropriate sonography techniques to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety protocols during procedures. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns. Document findings accurately and collaborate with physicians regarding patient care. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in diagnostic radiology. Ensure proper maintenance of ultrasound equipment and report any malfunctions. Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any questions or needs. Experience Proven experience as an Ultrasonographer or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Familiarity with Ob/Gyn ultrasound practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
