  • What you will do:
  • A provisional staff member who is training to become a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or is otherwise not currently capable of performing the full array of ultrasound examinations and physiological testing offered by the vascular laboratory. RVT
  • I is also an appropriate designation for any staff member who is unable to work independently at all assigned locations or shifts.
OR A staff member who performs all examination types offered by the practice. Vascular Technologist II indicates that the staff member can work independently at all assigned locations and shifts. Vascular Technologist II is expected to be able to work as the ultrasound technologist for ablations and other vein procedures.
  • Qualifications for the Vascular Technologist I position include:
  • + Education, training, and experience in vascular sonography + Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and career long learning (e.
g., continuing medical education in vascular technology, obtaining higher education, participation in research, etc.) + Must be eligible to obtain ARDMS certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) + ARDMS certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is required for the Tech II position + Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for image acquisition and report generation
  • Pay Range
  • :$34.70
  • $49.60 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
