Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Step into a vital imaging role performing a range of ultrasound procedures in a hospital setting. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality patient care throughout late afternoons and evenings. Your expertise will support diagnostic efforts across obstetric, general, and vascular cases.

12:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Key Qualifications:
Proficient in Ultrasound Imaging - General, OB, and Vascular Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or equivalent credential preferred Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer in a clinical or hospital environment Demonstrated ability to produce diagnostic-quality images and perform exams with accuracy and compassion Strong technical and patient care skills Adaptable, organized, and comfortable handling a range of exam types Up-to-date BLS certification
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct general, obstetric, and vascular ultrasound studies in accordance with physician orders and protocols Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout Calibrate and operate ultrasound equipment; maintain accuracy in image capture and documentation Collaborate closely with radiologists and care teams to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes Maintain meticulous patient records and image integrity in accordance with hospital standards Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and infection control procedures at all times
