  • Position Overview
  • As a Breast Imaging Sonographer, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing compassionate care and support to patients throughout their imaging experience. You'll work closely with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate diagnoses and an exceptional patient experience.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Perform breast and diagnostic ultrasound examinations + Produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation + Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education throughout procedures + Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness + Maintain accurate documentation within imaging systems and EMR platforms + Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support efficient workflow + Assist with equipment quality control and troubleshooting when needed •Qualifications•+ Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program + Current ARDMS certification required + Breast registry, AB, or OB/GYN registry preferred + New York State licensure, if applicable + Breast imaging or oncology experience preferred, but not required + Strong patient-care skills and attention to detail + Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment •Compensation & Benefits•Compensation•+ $40-$50/hour based on experience •Benefits for Full-Time Employees (30+ Hours/Week)•Health & Wellness•+ Medical Insurance (Two Excellus BCBS plan options) + Dental Insurance with employer contribution + Optional Health Savings Account (HSA) •Financial Security•+ 401(k) eligibility upon hire + Profit-sharing program after one year and 1,000 hours worked + $50,000 Employer-Paid Life Insurance + Long-Term Disability Coverage + Short-Term Disability Coverage •Time Off•+ Paid Time Off (PTO) + Paid Holidays •Join a Team Dedicated to Early Detection and Exceptional Care•This is an opportunity to work in a highly specialized imaging environment where quality, compassion, and teamwork are valued every day.
