$1,202/Week (Non-Taxable) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician for a 13-week travel assignment at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong vascular and obstetric sonography experience and be ARDMS registered.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols. Conduct vascular and obstetric ultrasound procedures with accuracy and professionalism. Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while ensuring image quality. Document findings and maintain accurate patient records. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care. Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
ARDMS Registration (Required) Current BLS Certification Graduation from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography Minimum one year of radiology/imaging experience Specific training and experience in Medical Sonography Vascular and Obstetric ultrasound experience required Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with major ultrasound equipment and software systems
