1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with ARDMS registration and vascular and obstetric experience for a 13-week night shift contract. Details Work in a hospital ultrasound department Night shifts: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week 13-week contract Requirements ARDMS registration required Current BLS certification required Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography required Minimum of 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience Vascular and obstetric sonography experience required Specific experience and training in Medical Sonography required Proficiency with major Medical Sonography equipment, including manufacturer hardware and software Strong knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Must maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal law — license required if applicable 2 references from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager from within the past year and within the specialty are required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills are expected Must be able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure
